The RadioSpin consortium organized an international workshop dedicated to spintronic and oscillator-based computing, bringing together leading experts from academia and industry.
The programme combined invited lectures on the theory of coupled-oscillator computing with experimental sessions reporting the latest device results. Discussions ranged from the fundamental physics of spin-torque oscillators to the system-level questions that must be answered before the technology can be deployed in real applications.
A recurring theme was the complementarity between the communication and computing applications of the same underlying devices — a duality that sits at the heart of the RadioSpin project.
The workshop reinforced the consortium's role as a hub for the radiofrequency spintronics community and seeded several new collaborations that continue beyond the event.
