RadioSpin has successfully passed its mid-term review with the European Commission, an important checkpoint for any Horizon 2020 FET-Open project.
Over the course of the review, the consortium presented its progress against the original objectives, the scientific results achieved to date, and the plan for the remaining project period. Independent reviewers assessed the technical work, the management of the collaboration, and the strategy for exploiting and communicating the results.
The panel gave the project excellent marks, singling out the quality and volume of the scientific output as well as the effective coordination between the academic and industrial partners. The reviewers also endorsed the roadmap for the second half of the project, which concentrates on integrating individual advances into working demonstrators.
Passing the review confirms that RadioSpin is delivering on its ambitious promise and clears the way for the consortium to pursue its final, most application-oriented objectives.
