Mission
INL is the first and only fully international research organization in the Iberian Peninsula dedicated to nanotechnology and nanoscience. Based in Braga, Portugal, INL operates world-class cleanroom facilities and focuses on translating nanoscale science into real-world applications across health, food, energy, environment, and ICT.
Competence for RadioSpin
INL's spintronics group specializes in the fabrication and characterization of magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs), vortex nano-oscillators, and memristive spintronic devices. Their nanofabrication capabilities enable the production of high-quality spintronic nanodevices at scale.
Role in the Project
INL leads the nanofabrication of spintronic devices — including RF synapses based on non-volatile vortex nano-oscillators — and contributes to the experimental characterization of device physics and synchronization phenomena.
